When I got home, I made a point of visiting all the local Thai restaurants in my area as I was eager to relive the memories for my taste buds. Whilst they were all okay, nothing was really authentic. I guess its the same when eating chinese. The food we get here is nothing like what is available in China – it is made purely for English taste.
So, with testing out all the local joints I made a promise to go back to a few who were a cut above the rest, but I decided from there on out I would try and cook a bit of food myself.
