When Andrew makes a simple promise to his dying father, strange occurrences at his part time job awaken him to the reality that nothing will be simple in The Last Days of the Springdale Saints, a novel of approximately 80,000 words.

The promise – to graduate from the school that made his father a football legend – seems simple enough, but Andrew must cope with his vindictive and controlling ex-girlfriend, his distant and disengaged Mom, and a ridiculous art project that seems impossible to finish. Andrew has already dropped out of school once, and his quest to finish his senior year is dogged by strange accidents and disappearances that rob him of his closest friends and threaten not only his pledge to his father, but his life.

In the face of these obstacles, Andrew falls in love with Ellen, an intelligent and reclusive girl with an abusive father. Ellen is the first person that really listens to Andrew, but she just might be sacrificing herself to help him stay safe.
